Diary of a Bracer. Day 340. by Anastasia Myagkova, RDH

The rubber bands – nightmare of every teenager and adult with braces. Bad news – almost everyone who needs braces will need to wear rubber bands. It is something that never changed since the Egyptian orthodontists. Just kidding.
The bottom line – if you want to get your braces off you have to wear your rubber bands every day, 15 to 22 hours a day. There is no way around them. They are annoying and uncomfortable at first, they snap sometimes and shoot off, but they are a necessity for a great final result.
