Join us at the 15th Annual "Party For Life" to support MoRE Camp Adventure.

At Gellerman Orthodontics, giving back is an important part of our practice.  Thanks to you, our annual Kiss Cancer Good-Bye Walk raised thousands of dollars for MoRE (Motivational Recovery Environments, Inc.) formerly known as Camp Adventure, a free, fun-filled week of summer camp experience for children with cancer and their siblings.

This year, we are joining forces with “Party for Life”, an exciting fundraising event that celebrates the true meaning of life, remembers those who lost their battle with serious diseases, and supports hope and joy for children with cancer, their siblings and their families.

We are so excited to invite you to join us at a wonderful upcoming event – the 15th Annual “Party for Life,” held on March 21st.  All proceeds will be donated to MoRE (Motivational Recovery Environments, Inc).

Join us in supporting MoRE Camp Adventure:
  • Come to the party – March 21st, at The Inn at New Hyde Park.  Tickets are $150 per person, and checks should be made out to Motivational Recovery Environments, Inc.
  • Donations for raffles and silent auctions  are needed.
  • Become a sponsor, or buy an ad for the journal
  • Want to make a party even better – gather up friends and family and take a table of ten
  • Make a donation  - any size helps!*

Are my teeth moving in the wrong direction?

First, take a deep breath – your teeth are moving slowly, and while it may seem that they are moving in the wrong direction, chances are they are not.
Braces are engineered to move teeth in several different dimensions.  Sometimes the teeth appear to be moving in the wrong direction, even when they are not.   There are also times when the teeth need to be repositioned before they can be moved into the final correct spot so that you end up with a Spectacular Smile.   Wait a few days to see where the teeth are headed.  Of course, if you are really worried, call us and come into the office – we don’t want you to worry unnecessarily.  There are times when a broken bracket or appliance may be moving the teeth in the wrong direction, so it’s best for us to get a look and see what is happening.
Concerns about how teeth move are another reason why we ask patients to be very careful about the foods they eat.  Bent wires can change the angle of pressure exerted by your braces, which will affect the movement of the teeth.

Have questions about how your teeth are moving?  Just call us – we’re always here for you!
